Whether you are off to see the grandparents or planning your dream European vacation, Podz makes travel planning easy and fun!


Ready to plan your next trip in Podz?


Follow these simple steps to plan, organize, and manage your entire trip, all in one place with Podz Travel.


Step 1: Create a Travel Pod

Start by creating a new Pod.

  • Select Travel as the Pod type

  • Give your Travel Pod a name (e.g., Summer Europe Trip or Family Beach Getaway)


Step 2: Invite Your Travel Group

Bring everyone into the same planning space.

  • Invite people using an invite code or shareable link

  • All invited members can view plans, collaborate, and stay updated


Step 3: Add Your Trip Details

Create your trip by filling in the key information:

  • Trip title

  • City / country

  • Attendees

  • Travel dates

  • Time zone

  • Destination language

  • Notes

  • Cover photo

This sets the foundation for your entire itinerary.


Step 4: Add and Organize Trip Details

Once your trip is created, tap Add to build out your plans in detail:


Transportation

Add all your travel logistics in one place, including:

  • Flight details

  • Cruises

  • Driving itineraries

  • Ferries and other transport options

You can also explore the best transportation options through Podz’s integration with Rome2Rio.


Lodging

Keep all accommodation details organized:

  • Airbnb

  • Hotels

  • VRBO

  • Hostels

  • Camping and more

You can also search and book lodging from Podz with links to Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Hipcamp, and other platforms, without leaving the app.


Meals

Plan every meal, from casual coffee stops to special dinners:

  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner

  • Coffee, drinks, and dessert plans

Discover restaurant recommendations through Yelp, OpenTable, Resy, and Google Restaurants, all linked directly within Podz.


Activities & Itinerary

Build a detailed itinerary with activities such as:

  • Tours and sightseeing

  • Museums and shopping

  • Spa days and wellness

  • Theme parks

  • Outdoor adventures (biking, snow activities, walking tours)

  • Concerts, theater, and live events

Everything stays organized by date and location.


Packing List

Create or generate a packing list with ease:

  • Add items manually or let Podz generate a smart packing list for you

  • Customize the list based on your destination and activities

  • Receive notifications when items are completed

  • Get helpful reminders for commonly forgotten items (like portable chargers, weather-specific gear, and more)


To-Do List

Stay on top of trip prep with a customizable to-do list:

  • Add your own tasks or generate one based on your destination

  • Examples include medications, document checks, or weather-specific reminders like gloves and layers for winter trips


Step 5: Use Maps & Group Chat

Podz Travel includes built-in tools to make collaboration easy:

  • Map view to see activities, lodging, and plans by location

  • Group chat to communicate, coordinate, and make decisions with your travel group in real time
