Why am I not receiving notifications?
To ensure you receive notifications:

Allow notifications when prompted by Podz.

Make sure "Silence Notifications" is off in your pod profile.

Check your device's notification settings. Go to "App Settings" in the Podz menu to confirm notifications are enabled.

Can I delete my Podz account?
Yes, you can delete your account and all related data. Go to the Main Menu > Member Profile, scroll down, and select "Delete Podz Account." Note: Events you created that others have joined will remain active.
​Can I belong to more than one pod?
Yes! You can join or create multiple pods. Switch between pods anytime by using the dropdown menu at the top of the app.

Why does Podz ask for my location?
Podz requests your location for:

Sharing it with pod members (optional and encrypted).

Searching locations for events.

Displaying weather forecasts.
Your location is not stored and is only used temporarily for these features.

Can Podz sync with other calendars?
Yes, Podz syncs with calendars on your device (iPhone or Android). Go to the "More" tab, select "Synchronize," and follow the steps.​

How do I change my password?
On the login screen, choose "Forgot Password," enter your email, and follow the instructions to reset your password using the verification code sent to you.

Can I change my username?
Your username is your email used during registration. While you can’t change your username, you can update your display name or change your primary email in your profile.

Can I leave a pod?
Yes. Go to the pod profile and select "Leave This Pod." Alternatively, you can silence the pod to stop receiving notifications.

What happens if I delete my account?
If you delete your account, your personal data is removed or anonymized. Events you created that others attended will remain in the system, but without your personal information.​​​

Is my data secure in Podz?
Absolutely. Podz uses GDPR-compliant encryption for data in transit and at rest. Chats and notifications are secured with unique private keys for each pod.

Will my data be shared with third parties?
No. Podz doesn’t share personal data with third parties. Device usage info (e.g., operating system) is analyzed using Google Analytics but is never linked to personal data. What you do in Podz stays in Podz.
